   <description><![CDATA[<strong>IP Associates<br />Frequently Asked Questions Regarding IP Associates Feature Packages</strong><br /><br /><strong>What is a Feature Package?</strong><br /><br />A Feature Package is a Time Matters template designed for a specific area of practice.&nbsp;&nbsp;A Feature Package may include form styles, unique power views, checklists/outlines, document preparation and tracking features, task delegation and automation systems, and workflow management for a particular practice area.&nbsp;&nbsp;All of these features are packaged together in such a way that they can be installed into an existing Time Matters implementation.<br /><br /><strong>Why should I consider a Feature Package?</strong><br /><br />Customizing Time Matters allows you to use the program the way your firm practices law but can be costly in terms of time (yours and ours), money or both.&nbsp;&nbsp;Feature Packages are a cost effective and fast way to implement Time Matters customizations because they provide you with hundreds of hours of customization time at a fraction of the per hour cost of customizing from scratch.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>Why should I purchase my Feature Package from IP Associates? </strong><br /><br />Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;The developers of IP Associates Feature Packages are two of the most experienced Time Matters Certified Independent Consultants (CIC) in the United States.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our CICs have worked with hundreds of firms throughout the country and are experienced legal and accounting professionals.&nbsp;&nbsp;This experience is incorporated into every Feature Package we create.<br /><br />Assurance:&nbsp;&nbsp;IPA offers a comprehensive, 60-day money-back guarantee.&nbsp;&nbsp;After installation and our Consultants have answered your questions, if you are unhappy with the product it can be returned for your money back (less shipping and handling) for up to 60 days from your date of receipt of the product.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>How do I go about purchasing a Feature Package?</strong><br /><br />Feature Packages can be purchased by calling our toll-free telephone number or emailing us.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please contact us at:&nbsp;&nbsp;(888) 732-9071 kristenc@ipassoc.com. <br /><br /><strong>How many licenses do I need to purchase?</strong><br /><br />You must purchase one license for every Time Matters license that you have.&nbsp;&nbsp;For example, if you have 10 Time Matters user licenses, you must purchase 10 IPA Feature Package licenses.&nbsp;&nbsp;A screen capture showing your current number of users is required. We will request this via email upon receipt of your order. <br /><br />Further, if you add any additional Time Matters licenses in the future, you must subsequently purchase additional IPA Feature Package licenses. <br /><br /><strong>What If Only a Few Users at My Firm Need a Specific Feature Package?</strong><br /> <br />When a Feature Package is installed, it becomes available to all users of the Time Matters database.&nbsp;&nbsp;As we have no way of confirming or monitoring which users are using the various features, we have no choice but to require licenses for everyone. <br /> <br /><strong>Do I install my Feature Package myself?</strong><br /><br />The purchase of your Feature Package includes installation by an IP Associates Consultant.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your Feature Package should be installed by an IP Associates Consultant or by another Time Matters Certified Independent Consultant (CIC).&nbsp;&nbsp;If your feature package is installed by someone other than an IP Associates Consultant or a Time Matters CIC, our 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee is void. <br /><br /><strong>What additional information do I need about the install? </strong><br /><br />In order for the Feature Package to install properly, Time Matters must be installed on at least one workstation, your Time Matters database must be functioning properly and all users must be setup in the Time Matters database.&nbsp;&nbsp;A backup of your Time Matters data prior to installation is highly recommended.<br /> <br /><strong>Are instructions included with my Feature Package?</strong><br /><br />Your Feature Package includes a PDF manual.&nbsp;&nbsp;Copies of the manual may be printed and distributed within your firm.&nbsp;&nbsp;The manual serves as a reference guide for your daily use of your feature package.&nbsp;&nbsp;It includes working examples and screen shots of the modules purchased with your Feature Package. <br /><br /><strong>Is additional training or consultation available?</strong><br /><br />Yes, additional training and/or consultation is available through IP Associates or through a network of local CICs.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please contact us at:&nbsp;&nbsp;(888) 732-9071 or kristenc@ipassoc.com for rates and availability.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>Will I need additional customization after purchasing a Feature Package?</strong><br /><br />Because each firm’s practice is unique, you may desire some additional customization.&nbsp;&nbsp;Many of our clients require no additional customization.&nbsp;&nbsp;For others, a Feature Package provides 70-90% of the necessary customization.&nbsp;&nbsp;IP Associates can assist you with this customization or refer you to a local CIC.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>What If I Need Technical Support?</strong><br /><br />If, at any time, your Feature Package does not appear to be working according to the documentation, please contact IP Associates by sending an email to kristenc@ipassoc.com.&nbsp;&nbsp;An IP Associates will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 24-48 hours.<br /><br />Time Matters technical support questions should be submitted to LexisNexis Time Matters by calling 800-328-2898. <br /><br /><strong>Where Can I Find the End User License Agreement?</strong><br /><br />The End User License Agreement is included in the documentation for your Feature Package.&nbsp;&nbsp;It can also be viewed on the IP Associates website within the Support Forums, Product FAQ section.<br /><br /><strong>Why is Maintenance Required on Some Feature Packages?</strong><br /><br />Some of our Feature Packages contain links to automated forms and other content provided by LexisNexis or other third parties.&nbsp;&nbsp;This content changes from time to time.&nbsp;&nbsp;In order to keep your Feature Package current, it is necessary for us to make changes to the links within the Feature Package.&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintenance also allows us to provide updates to our Feature Packages based on changes to the underlying Time Matters software.&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintenance is the most economical way for us to provide this service.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>Can I Purchase Maintenance Even If My Feature Package Does Not Require It?</strong><br /><br />Yes.&nbsp;&nbsp;Even where updates are not required due to third party content changes, purchasing maintenance gives you access to Feature Package updates based on Time Matters changes.&nbsp;&nbsp;For example, if the next version of Time Matters includes a new feature that we take advantage of in one of our Feature Packages, you would be entitled to a Feature Package update that includes this feature.]]></description>
